- Building sand castles on the beach: This is the perfect thing to do with kids, especially if your kids love playing in the sand. My Tip: Anywhere along the Gold Coast coastline is a great spot for sand castles, but for a great family atmosphere, head to Broadbeach or Burleigh Heads Beach.
- A trip to the play centre or playground: If you’re travelling with other families, why not schedule a quick trip to the play centre? Depending on your choice of playground or play centre, you may not have to spend any money here too. It’s definitely a must in any parent’s things to do with kidslist. My Tip: Head to Palm Beach Parklands; there is a fantastic pirate park there which is loved by all – you can get to Palm Beach Parklands at 945 Gold Coast Highway.
